Iryna Martynova

I was born into a family of musicians in Ukraine. So all my childhood was filled with music.  I was surrounded and immersed. Both of my parents are pianists and so I was inspired and encouraged to focus on piano and have continued with the instrument myself for all my life. However, aside from my piano major studies in music school I was also taking singing classes: choir, solfege, singing, piano concertmaster classes. Everything I did was environmentally and nutritionally musical. When I was 13 I was accepted to a prestigious music school in Kiev for exceptionally talented children as a pianist.

My piano-performance professors Igor Riabov and Eugene Rjanov were excellent and inspiring masters, artists and professors of piano from Moscow Conservatory, they sought to develop my pianistic talents and techniques.

I completed my studies at R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy ( in 2014), National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (in 2013), Haute ecole de Musique in Geneva (in 2019) as a pianist-soloist, ensemble performer, concertmaster, teacher of high education institution, manager in the sphere of culture and leisure, political psychologist, music teacher at school. I was helping as volunteer for GogolFest on the stage of contemporary classical music in Kiev. I have been a leader and pianist in the camp in Sweden during many years on summertime. I had practices like teacher, concertmaster and manager at the Kiev Institute of Music and the Central Special Music School. I helped to organize, and was a member of, the student jury of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, International Music Competition named after Lysenko.  I played concerts solo, with different ensembles, with famous Ukrainian singers (Nina Matvienko, Illaria, Telnuk), with orchestras. I had performances in Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Turkey, India. Curently I'm teaching piano, making arrangments for different instrument of all kind of music styles, writing a piano book for children.
